Starting on the 14th of March, the only COVID-19 restriction is an obligation to wear a FFP2 respirator in public transport (including taxis and Uber) and health care buildings. So no need to wear a face mask in the festival area, however you surely can if you want to. Conditions may change, so please check this website for up-to-date information.
Conditions may change, so for actual information please see CzechTourism website.
Starting on the 1st of March, entry to the Conference Center/Hotel will be restricted only by an obligation to wear a FFP2 respirator indoors. For actual conditions for entering the Conference Centre/Hotel please see this website.
The costs must be paid by the participant. However, there are quite cheap travel insurances that cover such costs. Please check the travel insurances available in your country.
We highly recommend choosing travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage.
The minimum measures currently valid for the Czech Republic during the festival will be observed and are available here.
A PCR test costs around 800 CZK / 33 Euros and the result is within 24 to 48 hours. The participants pay for the tests themselves. We recommend booking a specific date and time if you need a PCR test for your return journey.
Reliable and flexible testing center is located 20 minutes from the hotel by metro and offers an option to pay an extra charge and get a result by midnight the same day.
You can find all information about COVID-19 testing here.
For actual information please see this website.
A person tested positively must be quarantined, meaning they have to pay for a separate room at their own expenses. We recommend insurance, please see question above about who pays extra costs if tested positively. The uninfected roommate then will have a free room to stay in.
